Louis Vuitton unveils Spring 2027 collection at the Louvre
Louis Vuitton concluded Paris Fashion Week with the presentation of its Spring-Summer 2027 women's collection at the Cour Carrée du Louvre. Creative director Nicolas Ghesquière titled the collection ‘Ergonomie’, focusing on lightweight, fluid silhouettes designed to move with the body rather than constrain it.
The runway featured a retro-futuristic scenography designed by James Chinlund, including 34 suspended concept cars that appeared to float above the models. This sci-fi aesthetic contrasted with the collection's emphasis on simplicity and breathability, utilizing sheer fabrics, chiffon, and technical materials intended to address rising global temperatures.
High-profile ambassadors and celebrities, including Zendaya, Lisa of BLACKPINK, Felix of Stray Kids, and Emma Stone, attended the event. The collection showcased a shift from Ghesquière’s traditionally structured, armor-like designs toward more wearable, airy pieces such as slip dresses, lightweight jackets, and flowing trousers.
Separately, the Luxembourg Fashion Week 2026 featured thirteen designers under the theme ‘No Limits’, including the brand MINH NGNs by Minh-Anh Nguyen and Color by Naz by Nancy Schroeder-Zwank.
