Louisa Livingstone, Black Sabbath cover model, releases AI-assisted music

Louisa Livingstone, identified in 2020 as the woman featured on the iconic Black Sabbath debut album cover, is expanding her musical career under the name Indreba. Livingstone has recently released several tracks that engage with her historical connection to rock music, including the metal-influenced songs ‘Witch Woman’ and ‘The Woman by the Mill,’ the latter of which references the Mapledurham Water Mill where the original photo was taken.

Livingstone is now incorporating artificial intelligence into her creative process. She has released a J-pop style track titled ‘Take a Break (Japanese J-pop Version)’ and is working on a new project titled ‘Alice.’ This 23-minute psychedelic rock opera, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s works, explores themes of panpsychism and a character falling in love with AI. Livingstone describes AI as a tool that reflects the user's musical knowledge and preferences, noting that while she was previously critical of the technology, she now finds it capable of producing interesting results when used intentionally.
