Louisa Livingstone releases AI-inspired rock opera

Louisa Livingstone, the model featured on the cover of Black Sabbath’s 1970 debut album, has released a new rock opera titled ‘Alice’ under the moniker Indreba. The project is inspired by Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and explores themes of panpsychism and artificial intelligence.

The EP follows a narrative where a character falls in love with an AI chatbot, only to realize the connection is a beautiful illusion, ultimately leading back to nature and self. Livingstone utilized AI tools during production to experiment with voice cloning and instrumental elements, describing AI as a tool that depends on the user's input and musical knowledge.

Livingstone, whose identity was revealed in a 2020 Rolling Stone feature, has previously released metal-inspired tracks such as ‘Witch Woman’ and ‘Woman by the Mill’ that reference her history with the iconic album cover.
