Louise Fleury joins Olympique de Marseille women's team

Professional footballer Louise Fleury has joined the Olympique de Marseille women's team following her departure from FC Nantes. The attacker, who previously played for Guingamp and Paris FC, moved to Marseille after a successful two-year stint in Nantes, where she helped the club achieve a historic fourth-place finish in the league.

Fleury noted that the opportunity to work with her former Nantes coach, Nicolas Chabot, who now leads the Marseille squad, was a decisive factor in her decision to join the club. While she had initially considered playing abroad, she was drawn to the growing ambitions of the Marseille project.

Currently participating in summer preparations in Spain, Fleury expressed optimism about integrating with her new teammates. The Marseille women's team, which finished ninth in the top division last season, aims to secure its position in the league and improve its overall standing.
