Louise Redknapp announces death of family dog Rudi

Singer Louise Redknapp has shared the news that her family dog, Rudi, has passed away at the age of 12. In an emotional social media post, Redknapp described the pet as a “gentle, loving boy” who had been her “shadow” since he was a puppy.

Redknapp noted that Rudi had been a constant presence in her life, growing up alongside her sons, Charley and Beau. She expressed deep heartbreak, stating, “Our hearts are broken. Our gorgeous boy Rudi went to sleep forever today.”

Following the announcement, several public figures and followers offered condolences, including Ruth Langsford and Emma Bunton. This marks the second time Redknapp has shared news of losing a pet, having previously said goodbye to her dog, Blu, in 2022.
