Louisiana banks to close for two days in November
Banks in the Acadiana area of Louisiana, including Lafayette Parish, are scheduled to close their lobbies and drive-thru lanes for two days in November due to federal holidays.
The first closure will occur on Wednesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day, as Federal Reserve offices will be closed. A second closure is also slated for November, following federal regulations that affect both the banking system and the Post Office.
These closures will not impact ATM transactions or debit card usage. Customers with active cards will still be able to access their funds without issue.
