Louisiana hosts statewide fall plant sales

The LSU AgCenter has announced a series of statewide pop-up plant sales across Louisiana for the fall planting season. These events, organized by local Master Gardeners, offer various flora including native shrubs, perennials, unique herbs, and autumn bulbs.

Scheduled events include:

• September 19: Delta Master Gardeners in St. Joseph and Livingston Master Gardener in Walker. • September 26: Lafayette Parish Master Gardener PlantFest and East Baton Rouge Master Gardener Fall Plant Sale. • October 3: Hammond Fall Garden Day and the New Orleans Fall Garden Festival. • October: Fall Herb Day in Alexandria, Southwest Master Gardener sale in Lake Charles, Macon Ridge sale in Winnsboro, and Northwest Fall Bulb Sale in Bossier City. • November 14: Northeast Fall Bulb and Plant Sale in West Monroe.
