Louisiana Man Arrested on Hundreds of Child Sex Abuse Material Charges

Louisiana authorities arrested 32‑year‑old Nicaraguan national Francisco Huete Vivas on numerous child exploitation charges. He faces two counts of producing child sexual abuse material, 579 counts of possessing such material, and one count of possessing, trafficking, or importing an illegal child sex doll.

Investigators recovered 581 files depicting CSAM from his digital account, including two live video calls with a juvenile exposing themselves, and found the doll in his apartment. Vivas admitted buying the doll on the online marketplace Temu.

The investigation began after a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation coordinated with the Attorney General’s Office, and Vivas' bond was set at $750,000.
