Louisiana substitute teacher arrested for giving student vape

A substitute teacher in Allen Parish, Louisiana, has been arrested and fired following an investigation into an incident involving a student. Authorities state that 45-year-old Christy Chapman allegedly provided a student with a vape and permitted the child to use the device multiple times during a class period.

Classroom video reportedly captured the incident, showing Chapman giving the student the vape and allowing repeated use. Following the investigation, the Allen Parish School Board terminated her employment. Chapman turned herself in to authorities on September 8 and faces a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
