Louisiana Tech to host Army in Ruston college football matchup

The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs are set to host the Army Black Knights at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston on Saturday, October 3, 2026. This matchup marks the first time the two programs have met in Ruston and only the fourth meeting in the series' history.

Army enters the game with a 2-1 record, while Louisiana Tech holds a 1-2 record. Historically, Army leads the series 3-0, including a victory in the 2024 Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl. Louisiana Tech is looking to secure its first-ever win against the Black Knights and extend its current three-game home winning streak.

The event will serve as Military Appreciation Day and Legends Day, during which the Bulldogs will wear special Stars & Stripes helmets to honor members of the armed forces.
