Louisiana Tech women's soccer defeats Stephen F. Austin 3-1

Louisiana Tech women's soccer defeated Stephen F. Austin 3-1 on Sunday in Nacogdoches, Texas. The victory marks the first time the Bulldogs have secured consecutive road wins in non-conference play since the 2020-21 season. It also represents the program's first-ever win at the SFA Soccer Field.

Louisiana Tech established an early lead with a goal from Juliette Starck in the fifth minute, followed by a second goal from Madison Pensom in the 31st minute. Reagan Roberts added a third goal for the Bulldogs in the 54th minute. Although Stephen F. Austin managed to score in the 65th minute via Alyce Chappelle, they were unable to overcome the deficit.

Despite receiving a red card late in the match and playing with ten players for the final ten minutes, Louisiana Tech maintained their lead to secure the win. Stephen F. Austin outshot the Bulldogs 28 to 10, but failed to convert their offensive pressure into additional goals.
