Louisville and Kansas face off in basketball exhibition

The Louisville Cardinals and Kansas Jayhawks are scheduled to meet for an exhibition basketball game at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas. The matchup marks Louisville’s first visit to the historic venue since 1992.

Louisville enters the contest following a strong preseason ranking, appearing at No. 11 in both the Preseason AP Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll. The Cardinals' roster features Flory Bidunga, a former Jayhawk and recent top transfer portal prospect, alongside head coach Pat Kelsey, who is entering his third season.

Kansas, led by head coach Bill Self in his 24th season, is looking to rebuild momentum following recent seasons without a Sweet 16 appearance. Much of the anticipation surrounds freshman Tyran Stokes, a highly touted recruit and potential top NBA draft pick. The Jayhawks' roster also includes senior Melvin Council Jr., former Louisville guard Tre White, and transfer Leroy Blyden Jr.
