Louisville and Tennessee secure volleyball sweeps in Nashville

Top-ranked collegiate volleyball teams secured dominant victories during matches held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

No. 6 University of Louisville swept No. 9 Texas in three sets (25-12, 28-26, 25-16). The win marks Louisville's fourth consecutive sweep and their fourth victory over ranked opponents this season. Chloe Meester led the Cardinals with 13 kills, while Chloe Chicoine and Kalyssa Blackshear also recorded double-digit kills.

No. 22 Tennessee also achieved a sweep, defeating No. 21 Indiana (25-23, 25-23, 25-16). This victory marks the fifth straight sweep for the Lady Vols to start their season, a feat matched only once before in program history in 2010. Kennedi Rogers led Tennessee with 19 kills.
