Louisville Cardinals host Wake Forest in ACC matchup

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons are set to face the No. 16 ranked Louisville Cardinals in an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky.

Both teams enter the contest with 2-1 records. Louisville recently defeated SMU 41-31 but previously lost a close game to Ole Miss. Wake Forest is coming off a 33-20 loss to Miami and is looking to build on a double-overtime road victory against Purdue.

Wake Forest coach Jake Dickert noted that Louisville has been one of the ‘most tested’ teams in the country due to their schedule. A primary concern for the Demon Deacons is the protection of quarterback Gio Lopez, who has faced significant pressure in the pocket this season. Louisville's offense is highlighted by a strong rushing attack led by Keyjuan Brown and Isaac Brown.
