The No. 12 University of Louisville field hockey team defeated No. 17 California 3-2 in an overtime Atlantic Coast Conference matchup in Berkeley. Aubreigh Uba scored the winning goal with 3:12 remaining in overtime.

Tyler Everslage recorded four goals for Louisville, while Mary Wordelmann scored her first goal of the season. Goalkeeper Emily Young contributed eight saves, including a critical stop during overtime. California's scoring was led by Jaiya Labana, who netted a penalty corner goal in the first half.
