Louisville football players Kalib Perry and Jabari Mack return for fifth season

Linebacker Kalib Perry and cornerback Jabari Mack are returning to the Louisville football team for their fifth seasons of eligibility. Perry, a Georgetown, Kentucky native, previously played three seasons at Tennessee before joining Louisville for the 2025 season, where he recorded 55 tackles and an interception.

His return is facilitated by recent legal rulings regarding NCAA eligibility for the high school class of 2022. Mack has also indicated that returning to Louisville was his primary option following recent eligibility rulings. The Cardinals, led by head coach Jeff Brohm, are aiming for their first College Football Playoff appearance following a 9-4 season.
