Louisville rallies to defeat Florida State 44-20

Louisville rallied from an early 14-0 deficit to defeat Florida State 44-20 on Friday night. The comeback was fueled by Isaac Brown, who rushed for a career-high 235 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries, including scoring runs of 97 and 68 yards.

The momentum shifted in the second quarter after Louisville defensive back Kaleb Beasley stopped Florida State wide receiver Jasen Lopez on fourth-and-goal at the Cardinals' 3-yard line. On the very next play, Brown responded with a 97-yard touchdown run. Louisville finished the game with 537 total yards, including 397 rushing yards, outgaining Florida State 438-190 following the critical fourth-down stop.

The loss extends Florida State’s streak of 11 consecutive road defeats and 13 games played away from Doak Campbell Stadium. Florida State coach Mike Norvell described the performance as “extremely poor,” citing missed opportunities and a lack of discipline.
