Lourdes hosts pilgrimage for Ticino religious groups

Pilgrims from Ticino have arrived in Lourdes for a series of religious observances and community gatherings. The group, which included over four hundred people traveling by special train, participated in various liturgical events led by Bishop Alain.

Activities included the administration of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick to those suffering, visits to the Massabielle Grotto, and services at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the underground Saint Pius X Basilica. The pilgrimage also featured visits to significant local sites, such as the Moulin de Boly, the birthplace of Saint Bernadette.

During the visit, participants engaged in communal prayer, singing, and meetings with volunteers from the Hospitalité Notre Dame De Lourdes. The group included diverse participants, including seminarians from the Brazilian 'Mar a Dentro' community.
