Lousada hosts Euro RX final round featuring Rafaela Barbosa
Portuguese driver Rafaela Barbosa is set to debut in the RX3 category at the Euro RX final round in Lousada. The event, scheduled from September 11 to 13, features a unique double-round format where two separate scoring rounds will be held over the same weekend.
In a historic move for the championship, the competition at the Lousada International Circuit will include the first-ever night competitive sessions for the FIA European Rallycross Championship. The schedule includes free practice and qualifying sessions held at night on Friday, followed by semi-finals and finals on Saturday. A second autonomous round with its own qualifying and finals will take place on Sunday.
Barbosa will compete in a Peugeot 208 S1600 among 18 international entrants. She stated that the event is a unique opportunity to learn from top-tier international drivers and gain experience at a European level.
