Loutraki Casino case: Businessman cleared as five others face trial
The Corinth Misdemeanor Court has issued a ruling regarding the Loutraki Casino investigation, which was initiated following allegations made by Spyros Martikas. The court decided that the businessman identified as A.K., who was accused of orchestrating the criminal network, will not be referred to trial. The council determined that there was insufficient evidence and no specific factual incidents to establish his criminal involvement or a connection to the alleged criminal mechanism.
However, five other individuals are being referred to trial for their alleged roles in the case. The group includes one person accused as the leader, one as a second-in-command, one as a partner of the leader, and two as contributing members. They face charges including the management and formation of a criminal organization and aggravated fraud. Three of the defendants are currently being held at Korydallos Prison.
