Lovable raises $400M in Series C funding at $13.3B valuation

Stockholm-based AI startup Lovable has raised $400 million in a Series C funding round, bringing its valuation to $13.3 billion. The funding round was led by Menlo Ventures and co-led by the Scaleup Europe Fund, which is managed by EQT. Other participating investors include Tencent, Balderton Capital, and Regent, with several existing backers also contributing.

Since its launch in late 2024, the company has seen rapid growth. Lovable, which enables users to build software through natural-language prompts—a trend often called ‘vibe coding’—reports that users have created over 60 million projects. The applications built on the platform attract more than 900 million monthly visits. The company has also expanded its reach within the corporate sector, now serving employees at nearly two-thirds of the Fortune 500.

Financially, Lovable is experiencing a significant upward trajectory. Its annual recurring revenue (ARR) has nearly tripled from $200 million and is projected to reach approximately $600 million by the end of August. The company intends to use the new capital to expand its product capabilities, infrastructure, and global team, with plans to grow to roughly 450 members across offices in Stockholm, London, Boston, San Francisco, and New York.
