Viewers noted his striking resemblance to the late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was killed in September 2025. Posts comparing the two attracted more than 23,000 engagements, with some users joking about a “Kirk‑ified” look.

Separately, Sean Reifel, a 29‑year‑old former Bethlehem, Pennsylvania police officer, resigned from the department to join the same reality series. Bethlehem Mayor William Reynolds publicly criticised the decision, stating the city had spent taxpayer dollars on Reifel’s training and now faced a hard‑to‑fill vacancy. Reifel said, “I’m not a model, not an actor, I’m a police officer actually,” while the mayor added, “I never thought I’d see the day in America where reality‑show participation wins out over being a police officer.”
