Love Live! and Space Battleship Yamato REBEL3199 announce collaboration

The anime series ‘Love Live!’ and ‘Space Battleship Yamato REBEL3199’ have released a collaborative visual featuring characters Honoka Kosaka and Sasha running through the streets of Akihabara, Tokyo.

The collaboration is timed to coincide with the theatrical release of the final chapter of the ‘Yamato’ series, titled ‘Chapter 7: Rainbow Reincarnation,’ which is scheduled to begin screening on October 30. The connection between the two franchises is rooted in the Akihabara setting; the location serves as a symbolic setting for ‘Love Live!’ and will feature prominently in the upcoming ‘Yamato’ film when the character Sasha arrives in the district.

In conjunction with the visual release, promotional videos have been made available on YouTube, including a summary of the story from Sasha’s perspective and short clips featuring her appearance in Akihabara.
