Lovehoney ranks Australian suburbs as the nation’s ‘sexiest’

Lovehoney analysed a year of sales data to produce its annual Sex Map, highlighting the Australian suburbs with the highest per‑capita purchases of intimate products. In southeast Queensland, Ripley topped the national list, leading in lubricants, bondage items, realistic toys, lingerie and male‑pleasure products, while Queensland contributed four suburbs to the overall top‑10. The retailer also noted Lowood as the “Most Otherworldly City” after a surge in fantasy‑themed sales.

In Western Australia, Spencer Park was named the state’s sexiest suburb and placed fourth nationwide. Wandina earned the silver position, Kalgoorlie ranked sixth and was noted for the highest purchase of nipple clamps, while three Perth suburbs – Bertram, Swan View and Success – also featured. Lovehoney’s water‑based lubricant was the top‑selling product in every Australian state and territory, underscoring broader interest in sexual‑wellness products across the country.
