Lovin Malta debuts satirical series Miss Understanding Malta to probe island issues

Lovin Malta, a Maltese digital media outlet, has launched a new video series called Miss Understanding Malta. The programme uses dry humour and dead‑pan reporting to examine prominent local debates, ranging from overtourism and short‑let accommodation to traffic, construction and traditional festas.

The first episode concentrates on the town of Swieqi, where residents, tourists and authorities are debating the impact of rising visitor numbers and short‑term rentals. Earlier installments explored the overcrowding of Comino. The inaugural episode is slated for release on Lovin Malta’s social‑media channels tomorrow morning.
