Lovro Chelfi to transfer from Barcelona to Al-Diriyah

FC Barcelona winger Lovro Chelfi is set to transfer to the Saudi Pro League club Al-Diriyah. The 19-year-old Croatian player, who joined Barcelona in 2025 from NK Kustosija, will move for a nominal fee.

Despite the sale, Barcelona has negotiated a buy-back option to retain control over the player's future should he develop significantly in Saudi Arabia. Chelfi, a former Dinamo Zagreb academy prospect, has played for Barcelona's Juvenil A and Barça Atletic setups but struggled to secure consistent playing time at the senior level.

At Al-Diriyah, Chelfi will join a squad coached by Bruno Lage. The move is intended to provide the winger with the continuity and responsibility necessary for his professional growth.
