Lovro Majer credits AEK Athens for return to Croatia national team

Croatian midfielder Lovro Majer has expressed satisfaction with his move to AEK Athens, stating that the decision to play in Greece has helped him regain his form and secure a return to the Croatia national team.

Speaking ahead of Croatia's Nations League match against the Czech Republic, Majer noted that the club is well-organized and that the presence of fellow Croatian players, such as Vida and Jović, has aided his adaptation. He reflected on his previous season at Wolfsburg, which he described as difficult and a factor in his absence from the recent World Cup, but emphasized that his current environment at AEK allows him to focus on performing at a high level for his country.

Majer also touched upon his positive communication with coach Slaven Bilic regarding his reintegration into the national squad.
