Lowepro launches Fastpack IV camera backpack collection

Lowepro, now part of Videndum, announced the Fastpack IV Collection, a new generation of camera backpacks for photographers, videographers and other creators. The line includes three models – the BP 150 AW IV (16 L), BP 250 AW IV (22 L) and BP 450 AW IV (28 L) – each built around a dual‑compartment layout that separates camera gear from personal items. Key features are quick side‑access to the camera compartment, a redesigned full back‑panel opening for easier packing, lockable zippers, dedicated organization pockets and a front panel made from 100 % recycled nylon with a protective coating for rain and abrasion resistance. The backpacks are marketed as versatile day‑packs that can also serve for travel or commuting, with reconfigurable interiors that allow the camera section to be turned into a traditional day‑pack. Pre‑orders began at $139.95, and Lowepro’s product marketing director Nick Tsang highlighted the design’s focus on “fast access, greater flexibility, improved protection and smarter storage for modern journeys.”
