Lower Austria reports success for wine-themed cultural event series

The cultural event series ‘Kultur bei Winzerinnen und Winzern’ (Culture at Winemakers) in Lower Austria has reported a successful mid-season review. The seventh season of the series features 29 events held across all eight wine-growing regions of the state.

Since its launch in late June, the program has welcomed over 1,000 guests, with many individual events reaching full capacity. The series combines music, literature, and culinary experiences with regional wines in the setting of local vineyards and wineries. The program includes diverse genres such as jazz, contemporary folk music, lyrics, blues, and pop.

Johanna Mikl-Leitner, Governor of Lower Austria, noted that the combination of culture, gastronomy, and wine reflects the regional lifestyle. The event series is scheduled to continue through early September, with nine remaining events on the program.
