Lower Saxony clubs kick off new handball and football seasons

MTV Rosdorf's women's handball team began its 2026‑27 campaign in the Regionalliga with a home match against BV Garrel, followed by fixtures versus Wilhelmshavener HV and champion SV Altencelle. Coach Lennart Pietsch added two players from HSG Göttingen, Svea Binsteiner and Franziska Trarbach, as the squad aims to improve after a seventh‑place finish last season.

In football, SG Estetal scheduled a friendly test match against MTV Ramelsloh as part of its pre‑season preparations. The match will take place at the Rudolf Sievers Arena, providing both clubs an opportunity to evaluate new signings and tactics ahead of the upcoming league season.
