Lower Silesia receives tourism support and sports infrastructure funding

Government officials in Poland are focusing on regional development through sports and tourism initiatives in Lower Silesia.

In Kłodzko County, Deputy Minister of Sport and Tourism Ireneusz Raś met with local authorities and entrepreneurs to discuss the needs of the tourism industry. The meeting highlighted the popularity of the Singletrack Glacensis project and marked the launch of visitziemiaklodzka.pl, a new platform designed to promote the Kłodzko region through integrated marketing efforts.

In a separate initiative in Żarów, Deputy Minister Piotr Borys announced 17 million PLN in funding for the renovation of sports facilities in the Lower Silesian region. Under the ‘My Field – Orlik 2012’ program, 19 decisions were issued to support local governments in modernizing Orlik sports complexes. Deputy Marshal of the Sejm Monika Wielichowska noted that these infrastructure investments align with the 2026 Year of Health Prevention, emphasizing physical activity as a core component of public health.
