Lower Silesian police complete 1,856 motorcycle patrols in 2026

Police in Lower Silesia completed 1,856 motorcycle patrols during the 2026 season, covering more than 170,000 kilometers. The fleet utilized 74 motorcycles, primarily from brands such as BMW, Honda, and Bennelli.

Officers emphasized the importance of motorcycle patrols during the autumn season due to unpredictable weather changes. They issued safety reminders to motorcyclists regarding speed adjustment, vehicle technical inspections, and the use of protective gear. Additionally, police advised car drivers to be more vigilant, noting that motorcycles are often difficult to spot in rearview mirrors.
