Loyola Higher Secondary School hosts motivational session for students

Loyola Higher Secondary School in Kiphire organized a motivational program for 290 students in Classes 10 and 12 on November 4. The session was designed to prepare students for the upcoming Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) HSLC and HSSLC examinations.

Resource person Rev Fr Thomas Toretkiu encouraged students to aim for a 90% score through discipline and systematic preparation. He advised against rote learning, emphasizing instead the importance of conceptual understanding, regular revision, and the use of structured study timetables. Specific guidance was provided for different subjects, such as consistent practice for Mathematics and Science and regular reading for languages.

The program, themed “Dream Big, Study Smart, Work Hard and Achieve Excellence,” was opened by school principal Rev Fr Philip Magh, who urged students to remain attentive and make the most of the opportunity to succeed in their upcoming exams.
