Lozovo completes construction of new Park Macedonia

The Lozovo Municipality has completed the construction of the new ‘Park Macedonia’, a green space spanning approximately 14,000 square meters. The park features a design depicting the eight-rayed Macedonian national flag on its surface and is scheduled to officially open on September 8.

Financed by the Lozovo Municipality with government support via a Hungarian loan, the park is designed to serve as a regional tourist attraction. The layout includes two primary zones: one dedicated to children's play equipment and another intended for fitness equipment, for which the municipality is seeking support from the Ministry of Sport.

Infrastructure within the park includes benches, decorative planters, waste bins, and paths made of behaton tiles. An automated drip irrigation system has been installed to maintain the new greenery. Future plans include planting additional trees, such as Japanese cherries, and installing security cameras to ensure the safety of the area.
