LP Information projects double‑digit growth for semiconductor component markets to 2032

LP Information’s latest analyses forecast strong expansion in two semiconductor‑related component markets. The global ceramic focus ring market, used in plasma etching equipment, was valued at $389.22 million in 2025 and is projected to reach $968.43 million by 2032, reflecting a 14.5% compound annual growth rate. The sector is dominated by a few leaders—Tokai Carbon Korea, CoorsTek and Ferrotec Holdings—who together hold 58.55% of market share in 2025.

The PCB conformal coating market, which protects printed‑circuit boards from environmental stress, stood at $1.064 billion in 2025 and is expected to grow to $1.817 billion by 2032, a 7.5% CAGR. Top ten suppliers, including Henkel, Dow and Shin‑Etsu Chemical, account for about 61% of the market. Growth is driven by rising reliability demands in automotive, industrial, communications and medical electronics, with new solvent‑free and UV‑curable products recently launched by Henkel and Dow.

Both reports highlight regional dynamics, noting continued demand concentration in Asia‑Pacific, especially China, and ongoing investments by manufacturers to expand production capacity and supply chains.
