LPBank and LPBank Securities stocks see morning gains in Vietnam

Shares of LPBank (LPB) surged to the daily limit of 43,000 VND per share during the morning session on October 5, following a period of significant price corrections. The stock has drawn substantial market attention due to the involvement of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, who holds approximately 146.2 million shares (4.894% of charter capital), and his wife, Pham Thu Huong, who holds approximately 148.3 million shares (4.97%).

Simultaneously, LPBank Securities (LPS) saw a price increase of 4.24%, reaching 18,450 VND per share. This rise resulted in a combined wealth increase of approximately 285 billion VND in a single morning for two major Gen Z shareholders, Nguyen Ngoc My Anh and Nguyen Xuan Thai. The siblings, children of Nguyen Duc Thuy, each hold roughly 13.49% of the company. Despite this morning's recovery, their combined holdings remain significantly lower in value than during the stock's initial listing period.
