LPBank Securities shareholders see 3,060 billion VND wealth drop

The market value of shares held by the two children of Nguyen Duc Thuy has decreased by approximately 3,060 billion VND in the two weeks since LPBank Securities (LPS) began trading.

As of September 4, LPS shares closed at 23,750 VND, down 2.66% from the previous session. Nguyen Xuan Thai and Nguyen Ngoc My Anh each hold over 190 million LPS shares, representing about 13.49% of the charter capital. At the current market price, each individual's holdings are valued at approximately 4,513 billion VND, totaling 9,026 billion VND for both.

This represents a significant decline from the stock's debut on August 18, when LPS closed at 31,800 VND per share. At that price, the combined holdings of the two shareholders were valued at over 12,085 billion VND. This fluctuation reflects a change in market valuation rather than realized losses, as the shareholders continue to hold the assets.

Nguyen Xuan Thai, born in 2003, serves on the Board of Directors of LPBank Securities and is an assistant to the Board of Directors at Sacombank.
