López Beltrán and Bosch register for Morena leadership roles in Tabasco
Andrés Manuel López Beltrán, son of former Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, has formally registered as an aspirant for the Morena party's Federal District Coordination in Tabasco's 6th District. This registration is part of an internal party process to define leadership for the Committees for the Defense of the Fourth Transformation and National Sovereignty, serving as a precursor to the 2027 elections.
López Beltrán confirmed his candidacy via social media, sharing footage of community visits in municipalities such as Centro and Jalapa. The registration period for these district coordinations runs from October 1 to October 4, 2026.
In a separate development within the same party process, Bernardo Bosch has also registered to participate in the definition of a federal district coordination in Tabasco. Bosch, the brother of Miss Universe 2025 Fátima Bosch, stated his intention to continue working within the party's political project.
