LPL Financial announces lower investment minimums at Focus 2026
LPL Financial held its Focus 2026 annual conference in San Diego, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence and technology within the wealth management industry. During the event, the firm announced that its Model Wealth Portfolios platform has surpassed $200 billion in assets. To increase accessibility, LPL plans to reduce investment minimums for this platform to $1,000 later in 2026. The company also highlighted its expansion into alternative investment strategies, now offering nearly 110 options, and noted that it manages more than $300 billion in high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth assets.
Additional technological investments discussed include enhanced cybersecurity, expanded mobile access, and improved communication tools designed to increase advisor efficiency and improve the client experience.
