Lørenskog disappearance: Swedish man charged with murder

Norwegian police have charged a 59-year-old Swedish citizen in connection with the disappearance of Anne-Elisabeth Hagen. The individual is charged with murder or complicity in murder.

This marks the second person charged in the case. A Norwegian citizen in his 50s was previously charged in May. The investigation into the disappearance of Hagen, who vanished from her home in Lørenskog on October 31, 2018, has been expanded following the dismissal of charges against her husband, Tom Hagen, in 2024.

Police prosecutor Lisbeth Ravlo Backe stated that the investigation has been conducted extensively since the case against Tom Hagen was closed. Authorities believe Hagen was killed before being transported from her residence. The investigation remains ongoing as police seek to uncover the full circumstances of her disappearance.
