Lürssen Group plans stake transfer in ACI-Gitone

Gitone Kvarner, a company within the Lürssen Group, intends to transfer its 50 percent stake in ACI-Gitone to Kvarner Maritime projekt. ACI-Gitone is a joint venture between ACI and Lürssen established to develop the new ACI Rijeka marina in Porto Baroš.

Under the company's articles of association, ACI holds a right of first refusal and can purchase Gitone Kvarner's stake for one euro, provided it assumes the obligation to invest approximately 80 million euros into the Porto Baroš marina project. If ACI does not exercise this right, the stake may be transferred to Kvarner Maritime projekt.

Separately, there is ongoing speculation regarding the potential sale of Liburnia Riviera Hotels (LRH), in which Gitone Adriatic holds a 71 percent majority stake. While Gitone has not provided specific details due to LRH's status on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, previous reports suggested interest from potential buyers in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. Local officials in the Opatija region have noted the economic importance of LRH and are awaiting news on a potential change in ownership.
