LRT Jabodebek ridership increases 21% in early 2026

LRT Jabodebek has seen a significant increase in ridership, with passenger numbers reaching 19,079,347 between January and July 2026. This represents a 21% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Growth has been observed on both weekdays, which averaged 115,126 daily users, and weekends, which saw a 14% increase in daily ridership.

Specific stations have reported substantial growth, including Kampung Rambutan, which saw a 46% increase, and Ciracas, which grew by 28%. To accommodate rising demand and public celebrations, such as Indonesia's Independence Day, the service has implemented operational adjustments, including extended hours and optimized trip frequencies during peak periods.
