LS Cable & System and LG CNS unveil AI data center solutions

At the Data Centre World Asia 2026 event in Singapore, LS Cable & System and LG CNS unveiled new technological solutions designed to support the growing infrastructure needs of AI data centers.

LS Cable & System introduced new power equipment, expanding its business from bus ducts to the interior of server racks. The company’s new product lineup includes bus bars and connectors to facilitate power distribution within racks, aiming to provide a ‘From Grid to Rack’ solution. Alongside LS Materials, they also showcased ultra-capacitors to manage sudden power fluctuations and high-capacity optical communication infrastructure to handle increased data traffic.

LG CNS presented its Prefabricated Modular Data Center (PMDC) and ‘AI Factory Full Stack Service’. The PMDC approach uses standardized modules containing GPUs, servers, power, and cooling equipment that can be pre-manufactured and installed on-site to reduce construction time and allow for scalable expansion. Utilizing NVIDIA’s next-generation Vera Rubin GPUs, LG CNS is offering modular units and a suite of services including GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) to support real-time AI learning and inference.
