LS ELECTRIC secures $138 million power equipment deal for US data center

LS ELECTRIC has signed a contract with Bloom Energy to supply switchgear and distribution transformers valued at approximately $138.46 million (185.3 billion KRW). The equipment will be used for an on-site fuel cell-based power generation project for a big-tech data center currently under construction in Pennsylvania, USA.

This agreement brings LS ELECTRIC’s cumulative orders from Bloom Energy to over $500 million (700 billion KRW) within approximately 18 months. The company is scheduled to deliver 38kV high-voltage switchgear and distribution transformers between April and July 2027.

To support the growing demand for AI data center power infrastructure in North America, LS ELECTRIC is establishing a localized value chain. This includes sales, design, production, and service operations centered around its facilities in Utah and the Bastrop campus in Texas.
