LSBV basketball tournament to debut in Maracaibo

The Venezuelan Superior Basketball League (LSBV) will launch its new tournament, the ‘Venezuela Renace’ cup, with a two-game series between Gaiteros del Zulia and Costaneros de Puerto Cabello. The inaugural matches are scheduled for September 27 and 28 at the Dr. Antonio Borjas Romero gymnasium, located at the University of Zulia (LUZ) in Maracaibo.

The venue has undergone comprehensive renovations to support high-level professional competition and university sports. Officials noted the facility is fully prepared to host an audience of over 1,000 people.
