LÖSEV launches nationwide orange awareness campaign for Leukemia Children's Week

The Leukemia and Cancer Foundation (LÖSEV) is launching a nationwide awareness campaign in Turkey for Leukemia Children's Week, observed from November 2 to 8. Under the slogan “The Name of Miracle and Hope is LÖSEV,” the initiative aims to increase public awareness regarding leukemia, one of the most common childhood cancers.

Participants are encouraged to wear orange, the symbolic color of leukemia awareness, and use orange accessories. The campaign calls for involvement from various sectors, including public institutions, private companies, schools, and universities. Planned activities include educational seminars in schools regarding the symptoms and treatment of leukemia, as well as the creation of awareness corners in various organizations.

LÖSEV is also encouraging social media engagement through the hashtag #MucizeVeUmudunAdıLÖSEV. The foundation, established in 1998, continues to provide medical, educational, and psychosocial support to children with leukemia and their families.
