LSU and Alabama scheduled for November 7 matchup in Baton Rouge

The No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide is scheduled to face the No. 15 LSU Tigers at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The game is set to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ABC.

This matchup carries significant implications for the College Football Playoff, as both teams currently hold two losses. Analysts suggest the outcome could determine which program remains in contention for the 12-team playoff.

This contest marks the final annual meeting between the two rivals for the foreseeable future due to changes in the SEC scheduling format. LSU was not selected as one of Alabama’s three permanent conference opponents, meaning 2027 will be the first year since 1963 that the teams do not play each other annually. While the programs are scheduled to meet again in 2028, Alabama is not slated to return to Baton Rouge until at least 2030.
