New Orleans Pelicans unveil 2026-27 schedule and European tour

The New Orleans Pelicans have released their 2026-27 regular season schedule, which includes a rare international tour. The team is set to play two games in Europe against the San Antonio Spurs: the NBA Paris Game on January 14, 2027, and the NBA Manchester Game on January 17, 2027. Both matchups will be televised on Prime Video.

The regular season will begin at home against the Indiana Pacers on October 21, 2026. The schedule features several significant home stretches and a seven-game road trip scheduled for late January and early February.

In response to the schedule release, Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton expressed surprise regarding the season opener. Haliburton, who is returning from an Achilles tendon injury, questioned the NBA's decision to schedule his team against the Pelicans for the season debut, noting the lack of traditional commercial appeal or rivalry in the matchup.
