LSU ranked No. 1 college baseball program by D1 Baseball

D1 Baseball has named LSU the No. 1 college baseball program in the nation in its latest Top 100 rankings. This marks the second consecutive time the program has held the top spot in the publication's list.

The ranking is based on a decade of consistent winning, with a specific focus on the last five years. Criteria included NCAA Regional and College World Series appearances, national championships, coaching stability, facilities, and recruiting proficiency. Under head coach Jay Johnson, LSU has secured eight national championships, including titles in 2023 and 2025.
