LSU Tigers ranked No. 13 in preseason football poll

The LSU Tigers have been ranked No. 13 in the preseason Coaches Poll heading into the 2026 football season. The team is set to begin its campaign at home against Clemson on September 5, 2026.

Under new head coach Lane Kiffin, the program is undergoing significant changes, including the addition of 50 new players to the roster. Much of the preseason focus is on the depth of the receiving corps. While Jayce Brown and Jackson Harris are expected to lead the group, a competition is underway for the No. 3 wide receiver position between Winston Watkins and Eugene Wilson.
